UGMK increased its selenium production capacities

The Chemical and metallurgical shop of UGMK has completed reconstruction of the technological line for selenium production. Its annual capacity increased from 110 to 130 tons. The reconstruction of the site began in 2011 without its withdrawal from the working mode.
The director of the Chemical and Metallurgical shop, V. Vorontsov says that they introduced the major changes to the technology of fining of the solutions and commodities of selenium production. They renewed equipment of the whole apparatus scheme and introduced the automation system controlling the technological process.
