In 2015, Gazprom to prepare technology of helium extraction at Kovykta

In 2015, Gazprom dobycha Irkutsk, a Gazproms structure, expects to complete its research-and-development activities on the study of the technology for the extraction of helium from the natural gas of the Kovykta field in the Irkutsk region, the company reports.
According to it, the main equipment for helium separation unit under a membrane technology was supplied to the Kovykta field – it will be used for the first time in the history of the Russian gas industry.
