"Naftogaz" asks the European Commission to curb the powers of "Gazprom".

Andrey Kobolev, the head of "Naftogaz", wants to renegotiate the terms of the contract between the Russian gas supplier and the European operator. According to him, the document should provide the possibility of the use of the empty pipes for the reverse gas supplies to the Ukraine, RBK writes.

The Ukrainian company "Naftogaz" has asked the European Commission to reduce the influence of "Gazprom" on the pipeline operator Eustream. As Andrey Kobolev explained in an interview with WSJ, it is necessary to revise the terms of the contract between the Russian gas supplier and the European operator, to include the possibility of using the empty pipes for the reverse gas supplies to the Ukraine.
