OJSC “Varyeganneft” produced 1.6 mln tons of oil

There was produced 1.6 million tons of oil at the deposits of the Varyegan oil block by OJSC “Varyeganneft” in January-October 2015, according to the press-service of the company.
There have been involved difficult-to-recover oil reserves by using side-tracking technology to reach the level of production. There were involved 14 idle wells at the licensed sites over the reported period. It has contributed to produce extra 44 682 tons of oil.
