CNPC Aqtobemunaigas pays 8 billion tenge for excessive gas burning

CNPC Aqtobemunaigas had to pay about 8 billion tenge for excessive burning of associated gas, the pres service of the Aqtobe regional prosecutor’s office reported on Wednesday.
As specified by the department, in July 2013 numerous violations of the environmental law were revealed at the objects of CNPC Aqtobemunaigas. Excessive gas burning was fixed in Kenkiyak, Oktyabrskoe oil and gas departments as well as the plants of Zhanazhol oil-processing complex.
