Production potential of Yugra is directly connected with development of the Bazhenov and Tyumen group of fields

In the first nine months of the current year, 191 million tons of oil were produced in the Khanty-Mansisk Autonomous District that is by 4 million tons less than in the same period of the last year, the Deputy Governor of Yugra, Sergei Polukeev reported at the conference “Ways to implement oil, gas and ore potential of the Khanty-Mansisk Autonomous District-Yugra”.

The negative trends of the oil production decline can be compensated by an increase of geological exploration for the replacement of the oil production resource base, as well as introduction of new development technologies during development of the remaining and hard to recover reserves.
