Gazpromneft estimates production at Novoport field at 157 thousand tons in 2015

Gazpromneft expects that in 2015 the production at the Novoportovskoye field (the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district) will be 157 thousand tons of oil. In 2016 - 2.8 million tons. This was reported by head of the company’s Department of the Economy and Investment of the Upstream Division, Mikhail Zhechkov reported.

"The production at the Novoport field will make up 157 thousand tons in 2015 and 2.8 million tons in 2016," - he said.

A new grade of oil Novy Port, produced from this field, is better than the benchmark grade of Brent in its quality characteristics.

Zhechkov also noted that the company expected that the production at the Messoyakh group of fields (the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district) will be 1.7 million tons in 2017, at the Kuyumbinskoye deposit - 150 thousand tons in 2018. "As for Messoyakh and Kuyumba - this is the production share of Gazpromneft. This are forecasted assessment of Gazpromneft," - he said.
