Rosneft agrees to specify its spending in its application to the National Welfare Fund

Rosneft has agreed to renew its application for funds from the National Welfare Fund and to specify the projects, for which it needs the money. A new request by Igor Sechin may be filed before the end of 2014.

The consent of Rosneft to concretize its spending was reported by the Vedomosti, with reference to an official of financial economic bloc in the Government and a source close to the Ministry of Energy. According to one of the interlocutors. the agreement was reached at the meeting between the company’s president Igor Sechin and the Economic Development Minister, Alexei Ulyukaev.
