In summer of 2014, Uzbekneftegas may start to construct a shale plant

In the second half of 2014, the national holding company Uzbekneftegas may start to construct a plant on processing of shale coal from the Sangruntau deposit in the Navoi region, the Novy vek reports.

“At the end of the year, a tender for licensor of shale processing technology was announced, its results may be summed up in February of March; the construction of the plant may start by the summer,” – a source reported. According to him, in the second half of the current year, the project’s feasibility study may be prepared and negotiations on its financing may be completed.
