Construction of Nord Stream-2 is the key issue for Russia in the near future though the country hasn’t forgotten about Turkish Stream, the Minister of Energy, A. Novak, said on Jan 14, 2016 adding that the project of construction of Nord Stream-2 is at the stage of realization and even JV are founded for the project.
FAS of Germany has issued its permission.
The agency has approved the purchase of stakes in the project by Wintershall, Shell, E.ON, ENGIE and OMV.
On Jan 13th 2016 it became clear that 4 foreign contractors intend to participate in the construction of 2 branches of Nord Stream-2.
It is about Saipem, Technip, Allseas and Royal IHC.
