Surgutneftegas has purchased licenses for 3 sites in Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area for 106 mln roubles

​Surgutneftegas OJSC has been proven the winner of the auctions for the right to hold geological study, exploration and hydrocarbons extraction at 3 license sites in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area. In total the company will pay 105.9 mln roubles for the licenses. Surgutneftegas offered 74.193 mln roubles for the license for the East-Yukyaunsky site at the start-up payment of 67.449 mln roubles. “La-Manche” applied as well but didn’t offer its price at the auction. Surgutneftegas also won the auction for the Yugansky-44 site having offered 21.071 mln roubles for the license at the start-up payment of 7.266 mln roubles. Its main competitor was Invest Technology Ltd. Moreover, the company will be issued a license for the East-Tukansky site having paid 10.588 mln roubles for it at the start-up payment of 9.626 mln roubles. The participant of this auction was also La-Manche Ltd. The licenses are issued for 25 years, including for 5 years for geological study.

The East-Yukyaunsky site is located in the Surgut region, its oil resources and reserves make up: C1-0.413 mln tons, C2-0.843 mln tons, D1l-0.387 mln tons, 1-3.2 mln tons, D2-0.08 mln tons. The Yugansky-44 site is located in the Surgut and Nefteyugansk regions, its oil resources make up: D1-9.7 mln tons, D2-1.3 mln tons. The East-Tukansky site is located in the Nefteyugansk site, its oil resource make up: D1-12.8 mln tons, D2-2.1 mln tons.
