The Ukraine to offer Baku to buy and transit its oil

After almost two-year break, the Ukraine has promised to think about the resumption of purchases of Azerbaijani oil, concurrently offering to transit it to Eastern Europe.

The Ukraine sequentially ousted Russian oil Urals from its pipeline system, and after the launch of new Russian oil-export terminals in the Baltic region and Pacific ocean, the Ukrainian transit role in the supplies of Russian oil dramatically fell. Kiev repeatedly tried to attract resources, different from Urals, including by purchasing Azerbaijani oil.
