Gazprom to hold negotiations in Vietnam and China on March 16-18

Gazprom plans to hold negotiations in Vietnam and China on March 16-18, S. Kupriyanov said.

In 2009 Gazprom and PetroVietnam signed a strategic partnership agreement which presupposes cooperation of companies in oil and gas projects in Russia, Vietnam and third countries. The JV Vietgazprom holds exploration at a number of blocks of the continental shelf of Vietnam. From 2013 Vietgazprom holds industrial gas extraction at the Mok Tin an Khai Tkhat deposits at the shelf of Vietnam (recoverable gas reserves -35.9 bln cubic m, gas condensate-15.2 mln tons). In 2014 Gazprom and PetroVietnam signed a framework agreement on the conditions of development of the Nagumanovsky oil and gas condensate and North-Pur gas condensate deposits. The license for the development of the Nagumanovsky and North-Pur deposits is held by Gazpromviet.

Currently Gazprom constructs Power of Siberia.

The construction of the Chinese site of the gas pipeline (3.17 thousand km long) started in June 2015. CNPC plans to complete it in 2018. By that time Gazprom will put into operation the Russian part of Power of Siberia. Russian gas supply will start in 2019.
