SOCAR plans to buy 3 billion cubic meters of gas

SOCAR is interested in buying Russian gas.
Representatives of the Azerbaijani company presented Gazprom its proposals on conditions, under which they could buy gas.
We have retained an interest in buying Russian gas. We submitted our proposals to Gazprom. The negotiations are conducted not only with Gazprom, but also with the Iranian side. The volume of our storage facilities make up to 5 billion cubic meters, and we want to check their maximum load, - said SOCAR’s head R.Abdullayev on March 14, 2016.
