Vankorneft significantly increased oil and gas reserves in 2015

​Rosneft’s affiliate –Vankorneft – increased C1 reserves at the Lodochny deposit at the volume of 8 mln tons of oil and about 13 bln cubic m of gas due to the successful realization of the program of geological exploration and geological and technical measures in 2015.

Rosneft reported that as a result of the successful tests of exploratory wells at the Lodochny deposit, the industrial productivity of the previously discovered layers was confirmed, 3 new gas layers were discovered and put on Government balance.

Deep oil, gas and condensate samples were selected and studied for the first time at the deposit.

3D seismic exploration at the volume of 300 sq km allowed to specify the structure of productive layers and borders of oil and gas bearing layers.

For the additional exploration of discovered and discovery of new layers at the Tagulsky deposit , East-Suzunsky and Vainsky license sites, the prospecting and appraisal wells were drilled.
