Novatek’s Board to reconsider the list of candidates to the new membership on April 20th

​The Board of Directors of Novatek at the meeting on April 20th will reconsider the list of candidates to the new Board to be elected at the annual meeting of shareholders.

The company intends to exclude one person from the list. Meanwhile Novatek doesn’t name the candidate.

The previously approved list of candidates to the new membership of the Board comprises for the first time 2 representatives of Total and SG, M. Borrell and R. Casten, and L. Simanovsky – delegate of the State Duma (previously a partner of L. Mikhelson).

The current Board of Directors comprises the ex-Vice-mayor of Moscow, A. Sharonov; V. Dmitriev – head of VEB; A. Akimov – chairman of Gazprombank; B. Bergmann – advisor for international affairs of the chairman of Gazprom, member of consultation council of the Union of German funds of science; L. Mikhelson – chairman of Novatek; A. Natalenko – chairman of Novatek; G. Timchenko – shareholder of Novatek, co-owner of Gunvor.
