Novatek has been granted new site at Yamal

Novatek-Yurkharovneftegaz, a Novatek’s subsidiary has won the tender for the right to use of the Nyakhartinsky subsoil site for hydrocarbons geological prospecting, exploration and production there. The license has been granted for 27 years.
The Nyakhartinsky subsoil site is located in the Yamal-Nenetsky autonomous area in close vicinity to the Yurkharovskoye deposit developed by Novatek- Yurkharovneftegaz. As of Jan 1, 2016, the license site obtained extractable resources of 215 billion cubic m of gas and over 70 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons.
