SOCAR may offer the third party to buy not 17%, but 25% of shares in DESFA

The share in Greek DESFA, purchased by SOCAR, can be reduced from 66% to 41%. This was reported by Greek mass media on April 14, 2016.

According to the Greek mass media, today, the European antitrust regulators consider a deal on purchase of 66% in DESFA by SOCAR with the proviso that 17% of this stake will be sold to the third company in Europe. This step should reduce the share of the participation in DESFA, acquired by SOCAR, to 49%.
