Norilsk Nickel expects palladium deficit growth by 25% in 2013

The world’s largest palladium producer “Norilsk Nickel” expects a growth of palladium deficit by 25% in 2013 due to a decrease of proposal, the deputy head of “Normetimpex”, an affiliate of Norilsk Nickel”, A. Berlin said.

“We expect a significant palladium deficit at about 1 million ounces,” Berlin said in a telephone interview. “The deficit made up about 0.8 million ounces last year,” he said.
