Oil production through horizontal wells in the Tyumen region to be supported by tax benefits

Oil production through horizontal wells in the Tyumen region will be supported by tax benefits. The bill containing this initiative is being considered in the regional Duma.

According to the law on the establishment of the regional economic development zones, it is proposed to set the tax rate on income in the amount of 17.3% for organizations that are engaged in the oil production in the Tyumen region through horizontal wells, including those, production facilities of which are under construction. These innovations belong to the period of 2015-2017.
