Polymetal receives approval of Kyzyl’s gold reserves from Kazakhstan

Polymetal Int, the second largest gold producer in Russia, has received approval of reserves at the Kyzyl gold project from the State Commission of Kazakhstan, the company reports.

"The protocol of the Kazakhstan’s State Commission for Mineral Reserves approved the reserves of the Kyzyl deposit that must be mined by open-pit mining. This is an important step towards obtaining all the permits for the project. Works on the preparation of the site began and all major contracts for the construction of external infrastructure have been concluded," – the report says.
