Samaraneftegas increased oil extraction by 4.3% to 6 mln tons in H1

Samaraneftegas (Rosneft’s affiliate) increased oil extraction in H1 2016 to 6 mln tons (in 2015 – 5.7 mln tons). Gas production grew by 4% in H1 to 299 mln cubic m.

Extraction growth was due to the realization of the program of operational drilling, putting into operation of new wells and application of modern when at holding geological –technical measures. Drilling of wells was held at the volume of 154.4 thousand m of rocks, including exploratory drilling made up 4 thousand m.

In h1 2016, 56 new wells were put into operation, by 7 wells more than in h1 2015. 9 sidetracking operations and 97 layer hydrofracturing operations were held in H1.

The growth of oil and gas extraction was due to the launch of new objects of infrastructure. 165 km of pipelines and 21 km of power transmission lines were constructed.
