Tatarstan has determined the goals of the oil and gas chemicals cluster until 2030

The goals of the oil and gas chemicals cluster of Tatarstan until 2030 have been determined, the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, A. Karimov, said.

According to the strategy worked out by the Government until 2030, the cluster activation will become the key mechanism of turning to the innovation economy of the future. The oil and gas chemicals cluster is one of the basic ones in it.

Among the targets of development of the cluster is the oil extraction rate of 0.6-0.7, processing efficiency – over 95%, processing volume – 22 mln tons of oil a year, increase of production of basic polymers and turn from the basic model to the development of middle and low-tonnage chemistry.

The growth of production and expansion of spheres of applications of innovation oil chemicals products are planned – composites, engineering plastics, biopolymers. The control over the ecological basis of production will be held at the level of the world standards.
