The Murmansk region will provide metal producers with grinding mills

Within the next few years, the Murmansk region will build a plant for grinding mills production for the mining and metallurgical sector. The investment into the project will be 3.7 billion rubles. The experts say that within the last few years there has appeared the tendency for the creation of such a plant. If several producers simultaneously offer their products to the market, it can fall because it’s not a mass product.

The Monchegorsk mechanical works will build in the city of Monchegorsk in the Murmansk region a metallurgic mini-mill for grinding mills production meant mostly for ore crushing during its concentration. The enterprise can satisfy the needs of mining and metallurgic enterprises of Russia and the close abroad, and it will make preference to the enterprises of the Murmansk region and North-Western federal area. Investment to the project will be 3.7 billion rubles. The recoupment period is 7 years. The plant has been granted the status of the priorty investment project under the results of the session with the First Vice Governor of the Murmansk region A. Tyukavin. This status enables the businessmen to claim for the state support. In particular, the investor can appeal to the regional administration for granting of benefits in property and income taxes.
