Export of metal rolled products fell by a third in the Ukraine in H1

​In H1 2015 the Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises shipped 8.3 mln tons of metal rolled products overseas (-28% in annual terms). The stake of steel semi-finished goods was 3.8 mln tons.

In total in Jan-June 10.2 mln tons of metal products for $4.2 bln were exported (in H1 2014 – 13.9 mln tons for $7.2 bln). The stake of export in the total volume of produced metal rolled products was 85%. 46% of the exported goods are semi-finished goods, Metallurgprom reports.

In general the export of plates fell by 30% by H1 2014, steel semi-finished goods – by 31%, long products – by 21%. The export of metal products to the CIS fell by 455 (from 1.82 mln to 1.01 mln tons), including to Russia –by 52% (from 1.33 mln to 0.64 mln tons). The stake of CIS in the geographic structure of sales fell from 13% to 105, including to Russia – from 10% to 6%.
