Oil processing in Russia becomes more profitable than oil export

The improvement of the macroeconomic situation in the second quarter of 2015 as compared with the first quarter returned the situation, when the efficiency of oil refining in Russia began to exceed the export alternative, the director of Department of Economy and Corporate Planning of the Gazpromneft’s Processing and Marketing Unit Vladimir Konstantinov said during a teleconference.

"As for the impact of macroeconomic and price parameters on the effectiveness of the activity, the second quarter has less extreme macroeconomic parameters than the first one," - he said, noted that the efficiency of the oil refinery became "more confident".
