ONGC again plans to acquire participation share in Vankor deposit from Rosneft

ONGC is still about to acquire participation share in eastern-Siberian Vankor deposit from Rosneft. It became known from different sources on August 13th, 2015.

The deal value makes up $900 million. The approximate date for signing of a contract is September 2015.

ONGC will receive 3.5 million tons of oil a year or 70.29 thousand barrels a day. Rosneft will have a “master card” in negotiations with CNPC, which is likely to be attracted to the development of the Vankor cluster. Vankor is considered to be a pearl of the Russian oil-and-gas sector. Rosneft sells it, sawing into pieces.
