Turkmenistan will increase its control over the realization of large gas projects

The President of Turkmenistan G. Berdymukhamedov  ordered at  session of the Cabinet of Ministers to  the increase the level of control over the realization of the major gas projects aimed at the increase of gas extraction, its processing and its export. The primary attention should be put on the objects planned to be built within the second stage of arrangement of the Galkynysh gas deposits. Mr. Berdymukhamedov also has made several orders about further strengthening of the material and technical base, upgrading and technical re-equipping of the fuel and energy sector enterprises. The Turkmen largest deposits are located in the East of the state. The total reserves of Galkynysh and the neighboring Yashlar deposit are 26.2 trillion cubic m under the estimation of the local geologists and the British GCA.
