Russia:Oil catches the wind in the forecast.

Industry continues protecting itself from budget.

Feverish attempts of the oil producers and relevant officials to discourage the industry from sharp tax increases at the last moment are starting to look almost absurd. Yesterday it became known about the next sudden change in the forecast of oil production in Russia in 2016: an increase of 5 million tons instead of reduction, which should provide additional revenues into the budget. According to sources of "the Kommersant", it will give the RF Ministry of Economy and the RF Ministry of Energy a point against tax increases. But officials do not have time to effectively align strategy with market participants, and the latter still scare with sharp decrease in production, which in the current situation is rather at hand for the RF Ministry of Finance.
