Production at Kashagan will be restored by the end of January or begining of February

Production at the Kashagan deposit will be restored by the end of January or begining of February, NCOC reports. Production there was stopped in the end of October 2013 due to the troubles in operation of the pipelines. The date of production restoration depends on the necessary repairs that can be evaluated only after obtaining of the results of analysis of the flaws and inner-pipe detection.

Now the analysis of the 90-km gas pipeline is completed, and the data are processed. They also revealed small leakage of diesel fuel while testing.
