Sale of share in Yamal LNG to influence the Novatek’s accounting for the first quarter of 2014

Novatek has announced conclusion of a deal on sale of 20$ share in the Yamal LNG project to the CNPC’s subsidiary – CNODC. After the deal conclusion, the shares of the Yamal LNG’s shareholders are: Novatek – 60%, Total – 20%, CNPC – 20%, the Novatek’s press centre reports.
In December of 2013, the transaction received all necessary approvals of Russian, European and Chinese regulating authorities.
