In 2016, Kazakhstan to reduce plan of oil production by almost 3% to 77 million tons

This year, the Energy Minister of Kazakhstan Vladimir Shkolnik expects that the republic will reduce the oil production by almost 3% to 77 million tons.

The Minister reported that in 2015 Kazakhstan produced 79.46 million tons of oil.

"In 2016, we plan, taking into account the fact of rising water cut and depletion of fields, to produce 77 million tons," - said Shkolnik.
