Russia may reduce export duty on oil by 29% from February 2016

From February 1, 2016, the export duty on oil in Russia will decrease by 29% to $52 per ton against $73.3 per ton in the previous month. This was stated by leading expert of the department of tax and customs tariff policy of the Ministry of Finance Alexander Sakovich on January 15, 2016.

In the monitoring period from December 15, 2015 to January 14, 2016, the average price of Urals oil amounted to $32.46025 per barrel, or $237 per ton.
