Oil extraction in Kazakhstan fell by 0.9%, gas- by 3.4% in January

In January oil extraction in Kazakhstan made up 5.713 mln tons, by 0.9% less against Jan 2015, the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of Economy reported.

Gas condensate extraction in January rose by 1.8% to 1.135 mln tons, APG – by 4.2% to 2.165 bln cubic m.

Gas extraction fell by 3.4% to 1.93 bln cubic m.

In January Kazakhstan produced 223.1 thousand tons of gasoline, including jet fuel, that is by 4.9% more than in Jan 2015. Diesel fuel output fell by 30.4% to 245.5 thousand tons, residual oil – by 16.8% to 235 thousand tons.

In January Kazakhstan extracted 8.57 mln tons of coal (-5.9%).

Electric energy generation fell by 2.5% to 8.7 kWh.
