Tatneft to invest 28 bln roubles into the construction of Taneco in 2016

Tatneft plans to increase the investment into the construction of Taneco by 22% in 2016 against 2015, the head of the department for realization of construction projects of Tatneft, N. Zaikin, said. In 2015 over 22.7 bln roubles was directed for the construction of Taneco, 19.3 bln roubles – spent. The advance payment of 3.4 bln roubles was made for the production of equipment that requires a long period for production. In 2016 it is planned to direct 27.6 bln roubles, spend – over 24 bln roubles, Zaikin said.

According to him, a plan was worked out for 2016 which presupposes the continuation of construction of all units of the complex in full conformity with the corporate terms set previously. In conformity with them, in 2016 it is planned to complete the construction of delayed coking units, units of isomerization, naphtha hydrocleaning, splitter naphtha, as well as objects of general purpose and put them into operation.

It is not planned to freeze or shut down separate units as well as refuse from the approved scenario due to the oil price change and currency fluctuations. The company’s specialists analyze various variants of events in 2017-2018.
