In April, export duty on Russian oil to decrease by 4.5%

From April 1, 2013, the export duty on crude oil may decrease by 4.5% as compared to the March duty – to $401.5 per 1 ton, the preliminary formula calculations, established by law on customs tariff regulation, show, the RBK reports, referring to the leading expert of the Russian Ministry of Finance Alexander Sakovich.

According to the monitoring of the Russian Ministry of Finance, from February 15 untill March 14, 2013, the average price of the oil of the Urals grade made up $110.01625/barrel. Thus, the marginal rate of the export duty on crude oil may be $401.5/ton.
