Gazprom Neft has postponed extraction growth at Prirazlomny

The planned oil extraction rate at the Prirazlomny shelf deposit was reduced from 5.5 to 4.8 mln tons a year. The period of reaching this rate was postponed from 2021 to 2022, Gazprom reported today.
The forecast maximum annual oil extraction for this area is 4.8 mln tons by 2022.
Gazprom Neft started extraction at the Prirazlomny deposit in December 2013. In 2015 the company extracted 0.9 mln tons of oil at this shelf field (in 2014 – 0.3 mln tons).
