Nizhnekamskneftekhim requests to return the import duty on low-density polyethylene.
Russia's only supplier of low-density polyethylene "Nizhnekamskneftekhim" asks to protect the Russian market from foreign suppliers. The company is ready to produce up to 200 thousand tons of such products, covering almost the entire demand in the Russian Federation, but it needs to return the import duty of 6.5%. The market does not support the idea, stating that it can inhibit the development of the industry, not affecting the volume of imports.
