Miller's Defence. The European partners delete the main supplier of gas to the Old World from the sanctions list. "The opportunity to utmost work with "Gazprom" is necessary".

Alexey Miller, the Head of "Gazprom", was included in the sanctions list by the politicians in Europe, but at the last moment his name was deleted at the request of the company's partners. The European oil and gas corporations had to negotiate hard: hundreds of calls were made to persuade the politicians that the sanctions against this man will seriously complicate their work with the Russian partner, their sources told "the Vedomosti".

Among the companies that came to the defense of Miller were partners from Germany, France, Italy and Belgium. "The decisions of the European politicians, which the companies are forced to obey, could seriously impede the business: the opportunity to work with "Gazprom" is necessary", - the representative of one of the oil and gas companies in Europe stated.
