Gas supplies into Europe have fallen sharply.
Key indicators of "Gazprom", both financial and operational, are being reduced since the beginning of the year, a report for Q1 indicates. The net profit of the group fell by 11%, the exports to Europe fell by almost 20%, reaching its lowest level in six years. Unofficially, the market has repeatedly blamed "Gazprom" to limit gas supplies to Europe in order to prevent re-export to the Ukraine. However, the very monopoly argues that European consumers reduced purchases of their own accord, and expects to more than offset the loss by the end of the year.
