Gazprom extends a contract for gas processing from Karachaganak until 2038

​The companies –partners of the Karachaganak project “Kazrosgas” LLP (JV of Gazprom and KazMunayGas) have decided to expend the validity of the purchase-and-sale agreement of gas from Karachaganak until Jan 2038, Kazrosgas and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V.  reported.

Today the volume of gas exported to the Orenburg gas processing plant is over 8 bln cubic m annually.

“The prolongation of this agreement is an important step in the continual development of the Karachaganak deposit and means the additional supply of 120-135 bln cubic m of gas to the Orenburg gas processing plant until the end of the contracted period. That will make the additional profit to the companies – partners of the Karachaganak project and Kazakhstan”, is reported.
