R. Dudley,BP not to increase its stake in Rosneft

​BP is satisfied with the stake in Rosneft and plans to keep it at the current level, the head of BP, R. Dudley, said.

We are satisfied with our stake in Rosneft, he said commenting on the opportunity of purchasing the additional package in the process of a possible privatization.

He said that BP is satisfied with the result of Rosneft in 2015. This is a positive result taking into account the existing environment.

The Government plans to sell 19% of Rosneft’s shares. The advisor to the President of Russia, chairman of Rosneft’s Board, A. Belousov, said that 19% of Rosneft’s shares need to be sold to a strategic investor but not offered in the open market. It will give the maximum premium to the market price.
