The RF Ministry of Finance is developing a new version of the tax for the oil industry, different from TAI and NFR.

The RF Ministry of Finance was developing its own version of the taxation of the oil industry, which was likely to be different from the tax on additional income (TAI) and the tax on financial result (NFR), y the Deputy Finance Minister Ilya Trunin announced.

"We are working on a concept of taxation. We offer a new oil tax and its basic parameters. We think that it is quite reasonable and meets the current economic conditions.." - Trunin stated, noting that there are no active discussions with the RF Ministry of Energy on this issue right now, and there were no joint meetings already for 2.5 months.
