Rosneft plans to increase investment to 922 bln roubles in 2016

Rosneft plans to spend 922 bln roubles for investment in 2016, the first Vice-President of Rosneft, P. Fedorov, said at the meeting of shareholders.
The annual investment of Rosneft in 2015 made up 660 bln roubles. Compared with 2015, the growth of investment in 2016 might make up almost 40%.
In late March the head of Rosneft, I. Sechin said that the investment program of Rosneft for 2016 would amount to about 1 trln roubles. In early June the advisor to the President of Rosneft, A. Karavaikin, said that the growth of investment is connected with the growth of operational drilling and start of the active stage of development of new deposits.
