Rosneft and “Yamal LNG” are now exporters of liquefied natural gas

The RF Prime Minister D.Medvedev has confirmed the list of companies, which have the exclusive rights to export LNG. Besides “Gazprom” and “Gazpromexport”, it includes “Rosneft” and “Yamal LNG”. “The Ministry of Energy will grant the licenses for export,” he said.
The law on liberalization of LNG export from Russia came into force on December 1st, 2013. So, Gazprom is the monopolist only in the part of pipeline gas supply abroad, RIA Novosti reports.
