Volume of oil pumped by BTC is close to 2 bln barrels

The volume of oil pumped by the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC) is close to 2 bln barrels.

For the last 8 years, 1 bln 984 mln barrels of the Azeri oil have been shipped from the G. Aliev terminal at the port of Ceyhan.

As of July 14th 2014 2,589 tankers have left the port of Ceyhan.

The oil from the block of oil deposits Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli and condensate from the Shakh-Deniz gas condensate deposit in the Azeri sector of the Caspian are transported by the BTC.

After the signing of a new agreement in July 2010, Turkmen oil is also pumped by the pipeline. There is an agreement on the Kazakh oil pumping via the BTC.
