Rosgeologiya intends to find new hydrocarbons reserves in Irkutsk region

​Rosgeologiya will hold complex geological-geophysical works at the Nukutsky site in the Irkutsk region. The respective state contract was signed by the holding with the department for subsoil use in the Central –Siberian region, the company reports.

The object is located in the Alarsky, Nukutsky and Cheremkhovsky districts of the Irkutsk region.

Specialists of Rosgeologiya are to specify the models of geological structure of the sedimentary section and deep structural-techtonic plan of the Nukutsky site in the south-western part of the Angaro-Lensky steps, find out new perspective hydrocarbons resources and work out recommendations on further search and assessment works.

It is planned to execute the contract and make a presentation of the geological report in Q4 2017.
