Srednebotuobinsk field production to be increased with the help of foreign partners.

At the Srednebotuobinsk field the "Taas-Yuryakh oil and gas production" company has prospects to increase oil production to 5 million tons per year. Today we are talking about the start of the construction of the second phase.

"It will include one 530 mm diameter pipeline from the field to ESPO, increased pumping capacity of the pumping station, commissioning of additional wells", - the head of Mirninsk District Richat Yuzmuhametov shared the plans of oil producers after visiting the oil field facilities.

According to him, "Rosneft", which owns "Taas-Yuryakh oil and gas production", has sold 20% stake to BP. In addition, there is a plan to sell another 29% of shares of another British company Skyland Petroleum. Foreign investment will continue to develop the field and build  second start up phase.
