Gazpromneft expects to begin receiving cost oil from the Iraqi fields Badra in the first quarter of 2015, deputy general director of the company, Vadim Yakovlev reported to journalists.
"This is the first quarter of 2015. We have the right to receive oil if we maintain the level of the production in the volume of at least 15 million barrels during three months, and there are different procedures - nomination, receiving documents, accompanying this shipment,"- said Yakovlev.
The deputy head of Gazpromneft also recalled that the first starting complex with capacity of 60 thousand barrels per day had been launched at the Badra field already. "The challenge now is to load these capacities. Two wells are operated now. In 2015, the drilling will continue, including, we're going to increase the number of drilling rigs. In the near future, an additional tender for drilling will be announced. Works on development of infrastructure will continue – this is increase of the total volume and construction of infrastructure for the preparation of gas transportation. The transportation will be carried out to the area of Basra,"- he said.
