Western sanctions to speed up cooperation between Russia and China

The sanctions of the Western countries imposed against Russia might speed up cooperation with China in oil-and-gas sector, G.Timchenko, head of the Russian-Chinese Council says.
As he said to “Kommersant” there operate Chinese company Bureau of Geophysical Prospecting in Russia, which develops seismic survey in Western Siberia. “CNPC has high technologies, Huawei competes for leadership in the IT of the oil and gas sector,” he said.
